Description
Expanding Gate Valve
As the name suggests it is an expanding, wedge-type gate valve. It provides high-performance services in applications with 2000-5000 PSI. It has a cast body and is used for several kinds of oilfield services. Our expanding gate valves are replaceable and provide a smooth flow.
It is a full bore design, effectively eliminating the pressure drop and vortex slowing down flushing by solid particles in the fluid. The seat of expanding gate valve is fixed by a fixed plate which has good stability. The upstream and downstream seal of the expanding gate valve is not affected by fluctuations or vibrations of the flow. Gate expansion against the seats is either in an open or closed position thus allowing very long integrity of the sealing surface.
