Description
Dual Plate Wafer Check Valve
A dual plate wafer check valve is a type of check valve that consists of two plates that are hinged together. It is designed to allow fluid flow in one direction while preventing flow in the opposite direction. The two plates are connected by a hinge pin, and a spring is used to keep the plates closed when there is no flow in the desired direction. When fluid flows in the desired direction, the pressure of the fluid pushes the plates open, allowing the fluid to pass through. When the flow stops or reverses, the spring closes the plates, preventing backflow. Dual plate wafer check valves are commonly used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications, including water treatment, oil and gas systems.
