T Pattern Piston Check Valve
Being a check valve it has a quick response to prevent backflow It has body guarded disc for a perfect seat and disc alignment. Its sealing provides trouble-free shut-off. It also has the tightest tolerance and lowest roughness. This valve also has a maximum service life.
In Piston, or lift, check valves a body-guided disc moves within the body bore. The body guide ensures alignment of the seat and disc when the valve closes. The valve is usually placed under the disc to allow the fluid line to flow through the system. This is done when inlet line pressure and flow rate starts forcing the disc and thus disc pushes the seat to life and allow the flow.
