Middleeast valve is famous for Pressure Reducing Valve in UAE. It is a valve that maintains a specific, predetermined pressure downstream of the valve, regardless of variations in upstream pressure. It acts as a barrier between the high-pressure source and the system or equipment that requires lower pressure, ensuring that the pressure remains within safe operating limits.

Function and Working Principle:

High-Pressure Inlet: The fluid enters the PRV at a high, unregulated pressure.
Diaphragm and Spring: Inside the valve, a diaphragm acts as a pressure sensor. A spring applies a counteracting force to the diaphragm.
Sensing and Adjustment: The downstream (outlet) pressure pushes against the diaphragm. This pressure is compared to a pre-set level by the spring.
Regulation: If the downstream pressure exceeds the desired level, the diaphragm overcomes the spring’s force and pushes a valve plug partially closed, restricting the flow and reducing the pressure. Conversely, if the pressure drops below the set point, the spring pushes the plug open, allowing more flow and raising the pressure.

It can be installed immediately downstream of the main shutoff valve and meter, and upstream of any fixtures or appliances that need regulated pressure.
