Non Lubricated Plug Valve
Middleeast valve is one of the leading Non Lubricated Plug Valve in UAE. It is a type of industrial valve designed to control the flow of fluids in pipelines without the need for external lubrication. These valves are often used in applications where the presence of lubricants could contaminate the process fluid or where maintenance of lubrication is challenging.
The basic construction of a valve consists of a cylindrical or tapered plug with a hole (port) through its center. The plug is inserted into the valve body, and it can be rotated to either align the port with the pipeline, allowing fluid to flow (open position), or block the flow by positioning the plug perpendicular to the pipeline (closed position).
The rotation of the plug is typically achieved using a Handwheel or a lever connected to the valve stem. The sealing surface of the plug comes into contact with the valve body’s interior surface to create a tight seal when the valve is in the closed position.
